This was our second visit to Little Venice and it was every bit as good as our first. The staff are very friendly and service was prompt and efficient. The food couldn't be faulted. I had the Penne All'Amatriciana which was very good indeed, my father had a Quattro Formaggio pizza and my mother had a huge tuna salad. We'll definitely make this restaurant our favourite place to go. Well worth the short trip down the A428.

Ate here again lastnight for my Birthday meal, I would never pick any other place to eat, its my favourite restaurant, the staff are wonderful & always make me feel special everytime we visit & my birthday was no exception, my table was confetti topped, my dessert had a sparking candle in it, it was such a fabulous night and I didnt want to leave! I just want to say a HUGE thankyou to everyone who made it such a wonderful evening. Your food is divine, your service is A+, I feel so at home everytime I visit, this is how a restaurant should be, thanks again for making my birthday that extra bit special :)

I've been passing Little Venice nearly every day on my way to & from work, but have never been in. I must say that I am most impressed. My kids loved their meals - and it's great to get them to eat "proper" food and see them smiling because they love it (perhaps a kids smaller portion option?). My wive tried one of your seafood dishes and was overwhelmed with how nice it was. As for me, I haven't had a Calzone that good since I was in Imola twelve years ago!! Fantastico! We'll certainly be back!!

We visited the Little Venice in a large group from our Dance class food was lovely the atmosphere brilliant singers amazing they let us push the table back and dance as well - it felt just like being on holiday - would certainly recommend it and will definately be going there again

Nice table booked for my birthday; dining out with my husband; service very good; the beef steak size made me laugh; same order, but my husband steak it was nearly twice bigger than mine; at least it tasted very nice indeed; otherwise felt looked after, staff very attentive and prompt; we'll be there again - but no stake next time...

Booked a table for 5 at short notice for my sons 15th, took our own birthday cake which staff were more than happy about and produced later for us with indoor firework fountain/candle as we\\\'d forgotten to bring candle! Food was excellent, staff were very attentive and we felt exceptionally well looked after, I would highly recommend Little Venice.

Ate there this evening with my partner, after being told about the place the same day, well what can I say but were going back again tomorrow & taking the rest of the family with us! just wonderful, food is gorgeous, service is superb, very fast & friendly, very authentic!! Im 100% sure this will become our new favourite place to eat reguarly, I could not fault it. Had some great live entertainment, the menu has enough wonderful choice to satisfy you, I blinked and it was ready, theres always someone nearby if you need them. If you havent been here yet, you are missing out!

I can't praise this restaurant enough, it really ticked all the boxes for me. I have lived near the restaurant since it's been opened and only last night decided to visit. The staff were extremely polite, respectful and friendly, and the food was fantastic. Unfortunately the restaurant is unlucky in that it is positioned in an undesirable spot, but if given the chance i believe that people would be very impressed, so it's a big 5*'s from me.

WOW" What an excellent Italian restaurant. The service and quality of food was first class. The interior of the restaurant was found to be attractive and welcoming. The staff were found to be very friendly and helpful and nothing was a problem. My only real observation was that the extenal appearance of the building does not do the restaurant justice and would benifit greatly by having some improvements made to the exterior lighting and signage. The entrance area could also be made more welcoming which i understand is in the process of being completed. All in all a great experience and i will ceratinly be revisiting and recommending Little Venice to my friends. Well done!!

This is the second time we have visited and both were excellent. Don't be deceived by the exterior which was formerly a Little Chef. Inside is nicely decorated, the tables are not cramped and the service and welcome cannot be faulted. The food is hot, very tasty and worthy of a visit. If there is one criticism, it is that it is very hard to choose from all the lovely dishes on offer, oh and they may forget to mention the cake and cheesecake in the chiller when you order dessert! We arrived an haour and a half late due to bad traffic accident but the staff were not fazed and greeted us with smiles. It was a little quiet so the atmosphere could have been buzzier but that didnt worry us too much. The menu was extensive and we had 3 courses which were excellently presented and delicious. the staff chatted asking us for our opinions, we said we would recommend which we have and that we will return, which we will. We had a lovely meal at Little Venice, celebrating my birthday with friends. The food was tasty, fresh and piping hot. The house wine was delicious. There was pleasant Italian music playing quietly in the background giving it a nice atmosphere. Don't let the fact the it is an ex Little Chef put you off. We spotted Little Venice on our way back from Cambridge and, luckily, were able to enter the car park without too much drama! Although we were not dressed to suit the atmosphere, we were made welcome. The food and service were top class, so much so that I've just made a reservation for our wedding anniversary treat. Well worth the trip from Bedford!

First time visit on 30th April with my wife and 2 children. Restaurant looks much better on the inside than outside. Staff friendly and attentive, and decor pleasnt. Children's menu good value and they ate everything. Pizza base light and toppings reasonably generous-good value. Pasta dish was delicious but the main course portion was tiny and very expensive as a result (£9 for a portion that was just over half what I could eat - and I'm not greedy! - and the guy next to me thought the same about the portion size). Pizza is better value in my view. Would I visit again: maybe, but Ask in Cambridge serve bigger pasta portions!

My wife and I stopped on route to Suffolk on Friday evening. Food was very good, although had to prompt to get some bread and tap water. Will def stop another time. Only pity is the windows face the road and the car wash rather than the lovely open fields behind the restaurant, but I guess that was how Little Chef wanted it.

We have driven past and seen reviews in The Villager magazine and thought we had to call in and try this little Italian restaurant. Extremely glad we did. We have been on several occasions, the food, wine, staff, and atmosphere is always excellent. A wonderful find. We will definatley be returning.

Despite our phone reservation being lost, a table was quickly arranged for us, and the waiter was very attentive all evening. The food was simply incredible, washed down with some fantastic wine!! We chose from the specials board and the main menu and both were superb. The waiting time was just right, the food was hot, fresh and cooked to perfection. All staff were very pleasant, despite a very busy and full restaurant. The general ambience of LV was warm, friendly and welcoming. We will most certainly be returning very soon!!!

Easily the best Italian food for miles around, I had only ever had take-aways from Little Venice until a family party was left stranded last minute with no venue. A quick phone call and ten minutes later the manager at Little Venice had setup a long table for over 20 guests, which really saved the day. Food was great, and the staff were fantastic, making for a wonderful evening. Will definitely be back there very soon...

Well were do i start the most fantastic resturant me and my partner have been to in a long time, we had a fantastic meal, service friendly and very quick. I would recommend to anyone of any age and is deff worth travelling for. most resturants are in a rush to get you out the door but we couldnt have been made more comfortable. Really took our minds off the busy life of the A428 outside. Thanks

Have just been to Little Venice for a Mothers Day mesl. We had two little boys in tow, who were made very welcome. The food was divine, the lobster pasta was a 10/10 also a beautifully tender steak. Great service and fine food made for a very enjoyable and relaxing occasion.

Having driven pass on many many occasions, I thought I'd take a gamble on this unknown restaurant and go for our wedding meal here. What a fantastic decision! The service was "OK", the staff where pleasant.....the food was FANTASTIC! Definately will be revisiting and recommend. Marks out of 10 reflect overall experience (improve on the service....but please dont change the food)

Superb this is one place i love going to for food. Superb food, lovely, relaxed ambience and very friendly staff. very accessible location and lots of parking space. i highly reccomend this restaurant especially for anyone with babies as there is plenty of room and no clutter.

As a family we have visited this restaureant twice. We have been looked after exceptionally well. The Calzone pizza is as good as any in Italy I have tasted.The Pizza chef entertained the children with doughballs while they waited. People should support there local restaurant which is as good as anything within ten miles. Well done and do not compromise the quality- as for the previous review it is always warm when we have eaten there.

Stayed at a nearby hotel and came across this little restaurant.... You forget as soon as you sit down you are next to a petrol station and road! Tastefully converted from a former Little Chef at the Caxton roundabout. Good selection of pasta & pizza, together with meat/fish/veg main courses. Daily specials. Staff try very hard and are extremely child friendly. Better than your average pizza chain but a bit more expensive.

I've driven past this place many times, but it's taken me four months to discover the amazing transformation it's undergone inside. It used to be a Little Chef, and that's what it still looks like from the outside. And an old Little Chef beside a busy A road is not where you expect to find a very good Italian restaurant. But, after an elegant and comfortable refurbishment inside, that's what it's become. The service was attentive and friendly. The menu had a wide choice of pizza, pasta and other dishes. The food was delicious and was presented very attractively. The house white wine was crisp, lively and very drinkable. The highlight for me was the pudding, made with zabaglione and chocolate. We will certainly be going back. It reminded me in some ways of Pizza Express, but with much more quality and individual character for not much more money. If you live in the area, I strongly recommend you give it a try.
